Abstract :
We propose a simple, workable experimental trichannel lithium battery operated fully biocompatible implant with the aim of recording three biosignals-EMG, ECG and body temperature continuously in a noninvasive manner. This physiological biotelemetry device is proposed 1×2.5×4 cm in size consisting of a multiplexer, amplifier, oscillator and lithium battery in an implant to be placed in the upper chest of ambulatory animals. The circuit is explained and receiver specifications are described for time division multiplexed FM signals for EMG, ECG and body temperatures over more than 500 hours in health care. The device functions at specific characteristics, circuit amplifier voltage gain 250 (over 4 kHz), 2 mV peak input yielding 75 kHz peak deviation of 20 MHz carrier, using IC amplifier CA 3078 and Hartley oscillator. The receiver circuit consists of a demultiplexer with 3 separate channels for the said 3 signals
