Abstract :
This paper describes a study on an improved design of orthogonal half disk UWB antenna. An inductive loading is introduced to broaden the bandwidth at the lower band. The loading effects on the antenna performance and characteristics are investigated both numerically and experimentally. Good agreement has been obtained between the simulation and experiment.
