Abstract :
Multimedia content re purposing is a challenging task that aims to adapt and deliver media content to client devices by considering the heterogeneity pertaining to users, terminals, and communication channels such that it appears homogeneous, seamless and ubiquitous in the context of multimedia access and delivery. This ubiquity of multimedia access and delivery, among several others, constitutes the requirements of an ambient intelligent environment where people interact with intelligent computing devices through adaptive and intuitive interfaces in a natural and context-sensitive manner. This paper addresses several issues of multimedia content repurposing in the ambient intelligent environments and presents a prototype system including its design and architecture.
