Abstract :
In this paper we present the concept design and analysis of a robot for rehabilitation and assistance, named Magic Ladder. The different tasks that the device is be able to execute have been determined based on statistical information on the types of disabilities most common in Spain. In this work, we review the different robots for rehabilitation and assistance that have been previously introduced and describe the advantages of the Magic Ladder over these robots.
