Abstract :
This paper proposes a novel single-phase to three-phase converter topology, which aims at the source side power ripple. The proposed system obtains unity power factor of single-phase rectifier without a reactor and a bulky electrolytic capacitor. Source side energy provides directly to the motor without smoothing at the dc-bus voltage. This paper describes that the proposed method achieves the power factor 98.8% by experimental tests. In addition, this paper shows the influence to digital control of the proposed system
