Abstract :
This paper shows the current situation in the main companies of robotics services, regarding to characteristics like interoperability protocol and simulation software for service robots. The information shown in this paper is the result of the interviews made by Infobotica Research Group directly with the manufacturers of robots. These analysis would contribute with the specialized systems in the platforms simulation integration into the service robotics environment. Thereby, there is an increase in the collaborative work between research groups and companies, which is a very important point when identifying the needs that must be covered by the open source standard developed by Infobotica Research Group.
