Antennas link synthesis using near field chamber measurements

This paper presents an approach for S₂₁ antennas link synthesis in time domain. The theoretical basis of the proposed approach is detailed. The presented synthesis uses antennas field radiation information obtained from frequency measurements performed in a near field Satimo chamber. The measurements performed in the Satimo chamber from 2 GHz to 6 GHz are described. The presented approach is validated using comparison with direct link measurements made in an anechoic chamber. This validation is made for a couple of horn antennas and a couple of conical monople antennas.
