Abstract :
Summary form only given. In most works of adaptive control for pneumatic servo systems, the systems are considered as deterministic ones. However, since stochastic noises are present in existing pneumatic servo systems, the pneumatic servo system can be considered as a stochastic one. This paper presents the design scheme of a generalized minimum variance type adaptive pole-placement control for pneumatic servo systems. Existing pneumatic servo systems contain stochastic disturbances such as observation noises. Therefore, the proposed design scheme is effective under the practical situation. The effectiveness of the proposed design scheme is confirmed by experiments using the existing pneumatic servo system.
