Abstract :
We study general circuit design approaches for implementing microstimulator current sources. The method tends to minimize the DC current level and charge accumulation that are noxious for the body tissues. Our calculations show that we can reach a DC level error that is about 0.5% of the total stimulation, without using any coupling capacitor which are bulky and not desirable in miniaturized implants
