Abstract
The performance of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems can be significantly improved using signalling and resource allocation techniques based on a low-rate channel state information (CSI) feedback. In this paper, we study an adaptive low-rate CSI feedback-based MIMO communication system using different combinations of antenna selection, power allocation, and Alamouti´s space-time coding. Analytical expressions for the bit error rate (BER) of such a system are derived.
