Abstract
An input-output linearizing control for the third order (current-fed) induction motor described in the fixed stator frame, along with a simple scheme for rotor resistance and load torque identification is presented in the paper. The rotor resistance and load torque identification algorithm uses steady-state rotor speed and stator currents information, assuming that through the identification phase both unknown parameters are constant. A simulation study of the proposed control scheme is presented
