Abstract :
In this paper, the bistatic electromagnetic scattering by a perfectly conducting trihedral corner, with triangular faces, is considered. For a single reflection, the solution is obtained from the Physical Optics approximation, whereas for double and triple reflections, one uses the Geometrical Optics approximation, and the Physical Optics approximation for the last reflection only. In addition, the Method of Equivalent Currents (MEC) [2, 3] is used to evaluate the first-order diffraction which is based on the fringe current expressions for the exterior edges of the trihedral. Our method is valid for any incidence and observation angles and for any polarisation.
