Abstract :
We present methodological aspects related with the development of Web-based collaboration systems in design and education. Collaboration is highlighted as the fundamental aspect in the development of this kind of systems; it consists in a constructive and social process that is modeled in terms of protocols, which capture key acts of conversations involved in team working.
