Abstract :
A UWB communication system transmits and receives impulse signals and it is important to investigate the signal characteristics in time domain. This paper establishes a two-antenna system with the identical butterfly-shaped monopole UWB antennas to obtain simulated impulse signals. The theory with general formulation for transient signal analysis of antennas is described and used to examine the numerical results.
