            Abstract : 
A computer code based on an analysis for an emittance growth mechanism for electron beams in photoelectric injectors is described. The analysis leads to a generic injector design with a single external solenoid used for both focusing the beam and reducing the correlated emittance. The position of the solenoid is given by a complicated integral expression, depending on the accelerating gradient and RF focusing. The computer code described integrates this expression and calculates the best solenoid lens position for a given phasing and given field amplitudes of the accelerating cavities
