Abstract :
In this paper we present a rigorous method for the synthesis of unequally spaced microstrip antennas arrays fed in series by microstrip line, two types of excitation are considered at the end and at the center using fuzzy genetic algorithms FGAs. A design of a fuzzy controller based on population diversity measurements PDM is presented to adjust crossover and mutation probabilities to maintain the proper diversity during GAiquests operation. Selected examples are included, which demonstrate the good agreement between the desired and calculated radiation patterns than those obtained by a standard genetic algorithm SGAs.
