Abstract :
This paper describes the challenge of measuring very small currents in a live circuit, without changing or destroying the intended function of the circuit. We will go through the challenge and the requirements for a successful measurement under the above mentioned scenario. We will show some preliminary results from our first prototype, a “proof of concept”- JV-active shunt.
