Abstract :
The results of thermally stimulated depolarization currents in natural Yakut diamonds are presented. In the temperature range 200-650 K two peaks of TSD currents are observed; a low-temperature peak at 325 K and a high-temperature peak at 540 K. Repeated thermal cycling in the above temperature range leads to transformation of TSD current curves: the value of the high-temperature peak decreases and the value of the low temperature peak increases. The calculation of parameters of electrically active defects responsible for observed TSD current peaks gives the following values: Wlt=0.68 eV, ωlt=5 108 s-1; Wht=18 eV, ωht=5 108 s-1
