Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the activities by Japanese National Committee to harmonize Japanese standards and IEC standards on microwave oven safety, particularly normal heating conditions. Nowadays, almost 80% of world total microwave ovens are produced in China. There are two standards in the world now, one is UL923 and one is IEC60335-2-25.
