Abstract :
Dynamical characteristics of the polarization reversal in vinylidene fluoride copolymers strongly depend on thermal and mechanical treatment. If a film quenched from melt is drawn and annealed above the Curie temperature Tc, polarization reversal proceeds over several decades while it is completed within one decade if annealed below Tc. X-ray measurement shows no significant difference in the crystalline structure among samples annealed at various temperatures, while SEM images reveal difference in the shape of lamellae among those samples. Dynamical properties are discussed in relation to the structure
