Abstract :
The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Standards and Calibration Laboratory (SCL) has developed a simple calibration methodology for speed radar calibrators. The frequency shifted signal corresponding to the Doppler shifted signal measured by the radar system is received by a custom built antenna and measured by a spectrum analyzer. The expanded measurement uncertainty is 1.3 km/h.
