            Abstract :
Bio-signal applications were widely researched for several areas, using low power wireless technologies. However, standard communication protocols are not defined, and the raw bio-signal information is transferred over wireless links. We propose a flexible bio-signal transfer protocol which supports heterogeneous signal types such as electrocardiography (ECG), photoplethysmography (PPG), and others. The proposed protocol transfers the bio-signal via both periodic and aperiodic mode in order to reduce the power consumption. And, we propose the traffic generation rate-based power consumption analysis method in order to evaluate the power efficiency of the proposed protocol.
