Abstract :
Laser operation of Nd3+:SrWO4 laser at 1.3 μm wavelength in the free-running and Q-switching mode was obtained. Raman self-conversion to 1.5 μm wavelength was observed with appropriate cavity mirrors. The experiments proved that Nd3+:SrWO4 crystal could be perspective for laser and SRS applications and for developing laser systems with Raman self-conversion inside laser active medium.
