Abstract :
Although a lot of people are interested in astronomical objects, it is difficult to teach astronomy in school. One of the reasons for the difficulty is that students can not observe astronomical objects in school. We consider that the Internet and its multimedia applications can resolve this problem. On November 19th, 1995, we had a very unusual astronomical phenomenon. We broadcasted the real time video of this astronomical phenomenon to the Internet. This experiment shows that the Internet has the advantages for classroom lessons in astronomy. We consider classroom lessons of astronomy using the Internet and its multimedia applications
