Abstract :
In this paper, we present an efficient design and implementation of cable modem upstream modulator based on DOCSIS 3.0 specification. The cable modem upstream modulator which has been implemented in field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) can be simultaneously supporting 4-channel transmission. Also, this upstream modulator can support DOCSIS 3.0 specification such as transmit power, modulation order, bandwidth, FEC codeword, and so on.
