Abstract
This paper deals with scheduling of no-wait manufacturing processes. The main features of these systems are analyzed and an industrial application is described in detail. Since no standard solution procedure has been devised in the literature for this difficult scheduling problem, we propose a decomposition approach making use of fuzzy logic. Its results are compared with the ones obtained with different dispatching rules proposed in a previous paper. Computational results are reported
