Abstract
This paper outlines Hewlett-Packard´s (HP´s) initial efforts at establishing a formal environmental information program. HP´s reasons for initiating this program are examined, along with the company values and business considerations that affect the content of these communications. Additional information is provided about the company´s process for producing a voluntary environmental report as well as the method for evaluating the effectiveness of this document
