Abstract
The runlength-limited Levenshtein code property of a dc2-balanced code allows the code words to be protected from multiple types of errors, including insertion, deletion and substitution errors. In this paper, a post-modulation scheme, in conjunction with the interleaving techniques, can correct burst substitution errors and random insertion or deletion errors, by using the dc2-balanced codes.
