Abstract :
An on-line environmental product regulations information database has been developed to track the increasing number and complexity of environmental product regulations and standards. Design parameters included the use of an existing and supported database within the company and easy accessibility by users to current and proposed regulatory and standards requirements in a form for decision making by Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) business units. This paper describes the development, structure, maintenance and use of the system within Hewlett-Packard Company
