            Abstract : 
In this paper, we study the turbo equalization in presence of transmitter (Tx) in-phase and quadrature-phase imbalance (IQI) for the cyclic prefix based single carrier block transmission (CP-SCBT) systems. Resort to the principle of widely linear estimation, we derive the soft input soft output (SISO) widely linear minimum mean-square error (WLMMSE) equalizer and its low complexity structure. Simulation shows that the proposed equalizer distinctly improves the performance of the turbo receiver in presence of Tx IQI.
