  • Abstract
Successful electrification of the power train is one of the most challenging objectives in the development of new automobiles. The demonstrated customer benefit and the assembly performance achieved thus far give rise to optimism as regards the future acceptance of this technology. In order to secure a sustained market launch, however, further developments in respect of the applied technologies are required with a view to obtaining compact, reliable and cost-effective systems
