Abstract :
In this paper we have proposed a circuit which can act as Loser-Take-All (LTA) and Winner-Take-All (WTA) simultaneously and we used this circuit for a high frequency multi input Min-Max circuit with high precision. The proposed LTA circuit has a resolution of 150μv with dynamic range more than 1.7 volt, while WTA block has the resolution of 350μv. These features are much better than other conventional works. The proposed min-max circuit is a mixed analog-digital one that can works in 10MHz frequency with error less than 0.2% with input range more than 2 volt. The advantages of this circuit are high resolution, high speed, simple structure, high input dynamic range, low noise sensitivity and small silicon area. The circuits are designed in 0.35μm CMOS technology, where the occupied total silicon areacell is about 450μm2.
