Abstract
The core property of optical devices is its high nonlinearity, which will play an important role in the future optical communications. The advent of nano-technology, have paved a way for researchers to invent a novel optical fibre by combining the technologies of optical fibre and nano-technologies. In this paper, we present a manufactural method of this novel optical fibre. In addition, we conduct the propagation constant simulation of this fibre using Femlab. An average effective refractive index neff ap 1.400 is obtained. This result is a step-stone bridge for future research of nonlinear parameter on this novel optical fibre.
