Abstract
A screen-printed nanocomposite film has been prepared which is composed of multi-wall carbon nanotubes and silicon dioxide binder. The conductivity of the film was studied at various organic ambiences, including acetone, ethanol, formaldehyde and methanol. It is found that the conductivity of the film decreases when the film is exposed to organic gases. The results indicate that the CNT nanocomposite film may find applications in low-cost gas sensor.
