Abstract :
The paper is concerned with important events such as the invention of bipolar transistor, realization of unipolar MOS transistor and announcement of integrated circuits. Also further development of integrated circuits (IC) and state of the art and today possibilities in the IC design, also advantage of programmable arrays, are discussed.
