Abstract :
Function is an important token for expressing the essence of the product´s attribute. The functional decomposition design is also an important part in the functional design. Giving an relevant theoretical analysis on the product functional decomposition, based on the functional definition, from the point view of intelligent design, to explore the critical technology that the gene encoding method of expressing the product´s function, associated with features of the product, and the intelligent optimization technology for the functional decomposition, based on the genetic algorithms and evolutionary design, combined with examples of projects that is being carried out to verify.
