Abstract :
CAN-bus is applied widely in many industrial systems and vehicles. Nevertheless, in some cases, two or more distant CAN-bus segments are needed to transfer data. If the distance is too long, utilizing twisted wire pairs are impossible. In wireless method, GPRS is so far the reliable style. In this paper, a kind of CAN/GPRS gateway is designed to achieve the function of the wireless extension of CAN-bus.
