Abstract :
In this paper, we suppose the uplink capacity of clients is larger than one stream rate. In next stage, we will extend our solution to more general scenario, where the uplink bandwidth may be not enough to support one stream, e.g. in ADSL network. Under such situations, some additional server nodes may act as super seed to contribute their uplink bandwidth resources to fulfill the total uplink bandwidth requirement of the P2P system. We focused on the P2P mechanism within one CDN domain. Among the CDN nodes, the traditional mechanism is used. In next stage, we will investigate how CDN nodes utilize P2P mechanism to realize more efficient content search and location to enhance the performance of the CDN network.
