Abstract
This introduces a new flex real-time messaging framework based on Comet, which is a real-time message transmission mechanism based on the HTTP protocol. It solved the dilemma of providing real-time messaging service without opening additional ports in the Web server. It achieved a good real-time performance with the basis of consuming approximately the same amount of network bandwidth as flex RTMP messaging framework do. It is an important supplementary to the Flex architecture.
