Abstract :
We studied several commercial and experimental surfactants (surface active agents) intended for use as anti-static coatings on plastics. We looked at their electrical properties, coverage, drying times, and ion levels. All the surfactants dissipated static charge. However, we found considerable differences between them; properties varied widely from product to product.
