Abstract

In this article, based on the definition of the competitiveness of urban logistics, it builds an assessment indicator system of urban logistics competitiveness through collecting the relevant indicators data from five large and medium-sized cities including Beijing and Shanghai in 2007, using principal component analysis to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and ranking for the competitiveness of the urban logistics. Finally, it provides appraise and analysis in the application effect of principal component analysis in the evaluation of urban logistics.
