Title :
Adaptive multisensing and control in interaction-a new way to steer industrial processes
Author :
Lauber, Alexander
Abstract :
Combine adaptive multisensing, followed by toolbox-type sensor signal fusion, with toolbox-type control, and you obtain a powerful method to steer difficult industrial processes. In this report, the AMC (Adaptive Multisensing and Control) approach is presented and its advantages and drawbacks discussed. A number of examples illustrate the necessity to gather a solid amount of practical experience if the AMC method is to fulfil its promises
