Abstract :
With the development of embedded systems and system-on-chip (SOC), the efficient and low-power elliptic curve cryptography SOC chip becomes one of the most popular topics in China´s security industry. Using the design methodology for SOC, the architecture of software and hardware based on the elliptic curve cryptosystem SOC is discussed in this paper. Then the design, verification, implementation and kernel software development are elaborated further. The SOC chip fully compatible with Chinese national elliptic curve cryptosystem standard is fabricated with HHNEC 0.25um foundry, and the cryptography performance in the real chip is better compared to the similar products.
