Abstract :
This paper briefly reviews approaches to the calibration of digitizing waveform recorders. The use of global calibration with digitizing waveform recorders is considered for two applications: measurements of a sinusoid and measurement of double-exponential impulses. Digital signal processing is an important part of the use of digitizing waveform recorders and some results illustrating how it can enhance performance are included
