Abstract
This paper describes a microprocessor controlled agar production and dispenser system. Agar is dispensed onto the cultivation platforms by a pair of specially designed laboratory robots. Contamination is minimal due to the protective cover being open only as long as it is absolutely necessary. The designed system is able to produce agars of uniform quality. Agar recipes are stored in the memory for easy recall. New ones can be easily created
