Abstract :
Green energy is an important part of solution for future energy concern. Electricity is a magnificent form of energy with potential of increasing efficiency in different processes. The department of energy report that came out last year, points out that -12% is the saving of carbon dioxide emissions from the UK electricity sector by increasing penetration of consuming green energies. It is an obvious reduction which will happen if we turn to wind or solar instead of coal or other fossil fuel. This smoothly change present something that the power system themselves should be changed in generation. In this paper, we focus on the green electricity tariffs and their contribution to UK electricity market.
