Abstract
Traffic signal control and route guidance are the two main ways of on-line administration for urban traffic and the Integrating signal control with route guidance is one the most Important researches in ITS. After the characteristics for control and guidance are given In this paper, a hierarchical coordination system architecture and optimal model for dynamic traffic control and guidance is constructed based on current dynamic traffic assignment model and traffic optimal control model, and a heuristic algorithm for the model is mentioned. At last the simulation results applying such model and algorithm is given.
