Abstract
Space vector modulation (SVM) techniques are an industrial standard for digital AC drives. In this paper a new technique aiming to reduce the inverter losses and, at the same time, not to compromise the quality of the output current is compared with the standard symmetrical SVM and two-phase modulation standard techniques. A comparative analysis of the output current harmonic distortion (THD) is performed from experimental results while the evaluation of the inverter losses are obtained from simulations
