Abstract :
This work presents a new solution for a problem frequently found by electricity suppliers: current unbalance in three-phase transmission lines. Previous solutions are shown in order to explain the need of a new solution. This solution is based on a PWM AC chopper, which is presented and explained. Finally, the compensating system is simulated in order to verify its operation
