Abstract
A theoretical investigation of the possibility of the ocean acoustic tomography (OAT) application for the estimate of the amount of fish in the fishery pen is provided. A comprehensive set of mathematical algorithms exists, which cover all aspects of the problem-sound propagation, signal processing and reconstruction of the media. Application of this results in small scale tomography will produce reliable tool for fast and unexpensive estimation of fish amount in a pen of a fish farm
